fear
of everything
especially death
can be horrifying
as if one is adrift and needs an anchor
suddenly a vision of being a speck in the universe
or a small boat in a huge rough sea
desperately looking for something or someone
how must it feel to be near death?
how scary must it be?
dark and scary
with nothing and no one inside your head
but your own self
such a terribly lonely feeling
so alone so lonely
there is no one for you
why cant there be someone or something
 that you can hold onto
just a little support
a gentle hug
someone who can
envelope you and make it all go away
